In November 2022 I started a residency at the screen print atelier of Spoor in Antwerp, which is organized by Trix. Spoor is a space where musicians transform their music into visual art, and illustrators and designers can print their creations, a creative place for artists to collaborate. 

I really love having a dedicated space and time to focus on exploring new ideas and exploring the technique.

For my master project I made this publication on apartments, a visual essay on the life cycle of the giants in which humans have played out many lives. Divided into three chapters, each focusing on a phase in their lifetimes: construction, living on top of each other, demolition and decay. All chapters have accompanying texts written by Hubert Tuyishime. 

This book was handbound and printed using a risograph at with black and white ink on black, grey and white paper.

Your ceiling is someone else's floor

For my bachelor project a animated a short story. ‘A place called home’ shows the story of a child that doesn’t feel comfortable in her own home. 

Her house is an unsettling place. She is neglected, bored and scared. Everything is  from her perspective to show the unnerving feeling within the house.

'A place called home' was shown at the screening of Grafixx 2023 as a part of their animation cycle.

Got the opportunity to make this spot illustration for ephameron’s in De Standaard interview about Grafixx. A festival for graphic art, comics and illustration with lectures, expo’s, workshops and a bookfair organised in De Studio in Antwerp.
